Gallabox is a capable WhatsApp Business API platform with a shared inbox, chatbot flows, AI credits and a long list of CRM integrations. If you are weighing it against other tools, this page lays out five alternatives, what each one costs in India, and who each one actually suits.
Disclosure: Behaf is our product. It is listed first because it is the one we know best. Its trade-offs are listed as plainly as everyone else's.
Gallabox at a glance: who it suits
Gallabox suits teams that want one inbox for WhatsApp, Instagram and a website chat widget, with chatbot flows and ties into CRMs like Zoho, HubSpot, LeadSquared or Salesforce. It is a good fit for lead-driven businesses where several people work the same conversations and the CRM is the source of truth. It is a weaker fit for a small D2C brand that mainly wants WhatsApp to take orders, because you still need your own store, checkout, COD handling and shipping around it.
Plans (read from gallabox.com on 13 Oct 2026, India view, before GST):
- Basic: ₹2,999/month billed quarterly, or ₹2,399/month billed annually. 3 users, 500 AI credits a month.
- Essential: ₹6,999/month billed quarterly, or ₹5,599/month billed annually. 6 users, 2,000 AI credits a month, AI agents on WhatsApp and Instagram.
- Advanced: ₹16,999/month billed quarterly, or ₹13,599/month billed annually. 10 users, 8,000 AI credits a month.
- Enterprise: priced on request.
The page does not list a month-to-month option; plans are billed quarterly or annually. It also says WhatsApp conversation fees and extra AI credits are billed separately, and that Meta's fees appear on your invoice with Gallabox's markup. There is a free trial with no card needed. See gallabox.com/pricing for the current details.
Why brands look for a Gallabox alternative
- You pay before you sell. The smallest plan is billed a quarter at a time, whether orders come in or not.
- The bill has several parts. Plan fee, Meta's message charges with a markup, and AI credit top-ups once the monthly credits run out.
- It is not a store. A D2C brand still needs a website or storefront, a payment gateway, COD confirmation and courier booking.
1. Behaf: Best for D2C Brands That Want WhatsApp to Take the Order
Who it suits: Indian D2C brands selling fashion, jewellery, beauty, wellness or food, where buyers ask questions before they buy and most of the selling happens in chat.
Pricing: No signup fee and no monthly fee. 5% + ₹5 + 18% GST per shipped order for the first 100 brands (the Founding 100 rate, locked for life), and 10% + ₹5 + 18% GST after that. That fee covers WhatsApp (Meta) charges, the AI sales agent and payment gateway charges. Your payout comes after delivery, minus the fee. Full maths on the Behaf pricing page.
What it does: Your store runs inside WhatsApp on Behaf's verified number, so there is no WhatsApp Business API application, no BSP and no number of your own to set up. You upload your products and the store is live in about 10 minutes once you are verified. An AI sales agent answers buyers, recommends sizes, suggests add-ons, and sends a PayU pay link for UPI or cards. For cash on delivery it confirms the order with the buyer on WhatsApp before dispatch, then books the Shiprocket pickup. It sends one follow-up on an abandoned cart, and every buyer is saved with what they asked and bought.
How it differs from Gallabox: Gallabox is an inbox and automation layer you put on top of your own number and your own store. Behaf is the store, the salesperson, the payment and the shipping booking in one, and it charges per shipped order instead of per quarter.
Strengths
- A slow month costs nothing, because the fee is charged only when an order ships
- Store, PayU checkout, COD confirmation and Shiprocket booking are included, so you do not need a website
- The AI sales agent is part of the product, not a credit pack
- No API application or number migration
Trade-offs
- Your store runs on Behaf's WhatsApp number, not your own business number
- Not a broadcast tool or a CRM for sales teams. If that is your main need, Gallabox, WATI or AiSensy fit better
- A weaker fit for catalogues with 500+ variants, B2B wholesale, and brands whose own website already converts well
- At very high order volume a flat subscription can work out cheaper, so run your own numbers
- Behaf is new. As of 13 October 2026, 12 founding brands are onboarded and first sales are not yet live, so there are no case studies yet
2. WATI: Best for Support Teams Using a Shared Inbox
Who it suits: Brands where several people answer WhatsApp chats and need one shared inbox with assignment, tags and broadcasts.
Pricing: Growth ₹2,999/month, Pro ₹6,499/month and Business ₹18,499/month, billed monthly (wati.io, 6 Oct 2026, India view, before GST). Per-message charges are extra.
Compared with Gallabox: a similar kind of tool with a similar entry price, but WATI offers month-to-month billing, which suits brands that do not want to pay a quarter up front.
Trade-offs: not a storefront, so you still need your own website and checkout, and message charges come on top of the plan.

3. Interakt: Best for Brands Already on Shopify
Who it suits: Shopify brands that want WhatsApp catalogue, broadcasts and cart recovery connected to the store they already run.
Pricing: Starter with WhatsApp is ₹3,499 a quarter or ₹11,999 a year. Growth is ₹2,799/month (interakt.shop, 13 Oct 2026, India view, before GST). Message charges are extra.
Compared with Gallabox: Interakt's entry plan with WhatsApp costs less per quarter, and its Shopify link is its main strength. Gallabox goes further on CRM integrations and multi-channel AI.
Trade-offs: Starter with WhatsApp is billed quarterly or yearly, and it assumes you already have a website store behind it.

4. AiSensy: Best for Broadcasts on a Budget
Who it suits: Teams whose main job on WhatsApp is sending offers, reminders and updates to a large opt-in list.
Pricing: Free plan available. Paid plans, a chatbot builder add-on, an AI Agent add-on and a prepaid message wallet sit on top; see aisensy.com/pricing for current prices.
AiSensy vs Gallabox: AiSensy is the cheaper way in for broadcasts, with a free plan. Gallabox bundles more in each plan (multiple channels, chatbot flows, AI credits and CRM integrations) but asks for a quarter or a year up front. If you mostly broadcast, AiSensy. If several people work leads across WhatsApp and Instagram and the CRM matters, Gallabox. Neither one is a store.
Trade-offs: the bill grows in pieces (plan, chatbot add-on, AI add-on, message wallet), and it is not a storefront, checkout or shipping tool.

5. DoubleTick: Best for Sales Teams Selling One-to-One
Who it suits: Businesses where salespeople sell through personal-style WhatsApp conversations from their phones, such as jewellery, furniture, distribution and high-value retail.
Pricing: Starter ₹3,000/month and Pro + AI ₹7,700/month, billed yearly (doubletick.io, 13 Oct 2026, India view, before GST). Meta message charges are extra.
Compared with Gallabox: DoubleTick is built around a mobile app for salespeople; Gallabox is built around a desktop inbox with flows and CRM integrations.
Trade-offs: plans are billed yearly, so you pay up front, and it is not a storefront or checkout.

How to choose a Gallabox alternative
Start with the job you need WhatsApp to do on a normal day.
- Several people answer support chats: WATI, or stay on Gallabox if you need its CRM integrations.
- You send campaigns to a big opt-in list: AiSensy.
- You run a Shopify store and want WhatsApp tied to it: Interakt.
- Salespeople sell one to one from their phones: DoubleTick.
- You want WhatsApp to take the order, collect payment and book the courier: Behaf.
Then check three things on any tool:
- How you are billed. Monthly, quarterly, yearly, or per order. A quarterly or yearly plan is cash you pay before the first sale.
- What sits outside the plan. Meta's message fees, markups, AI credits, extra users. Add them up for a real month.
- What you still need to buy around it. A website, a payment gateway, COD confirmation, courier booking. An inbox tool does not replace any of these.
Switching from Gallabox
To WATI, Interakt, AiSensy or DoubleTick: these are all WhatsApp Business API platforms, so you move your number from one provider to another. Export contacts, re-create templates and flows, and check when your current term ends.
To Behaf: you do not move your number. Your Behaf store runs on Behaf's verified number, so you can run it alongside Gallabox and point your existing campaigns to it.
